I’m Arianna “Valentina” Velasquez, a dancer and cultural ambassador from Lima, Peru.
Dance has been part of my life since I was six years old — it has shaped who I am and how I understand the world around me. Through dance, I’ve learned discipline, resilience, patience, and the ability to express emotions beyond words.
Over the years, I’ve discovered that movement can be more than performance — it can be a form of storytelling, healing, and connection. My experiences in international exchange programs and community projects have taught me to combine art with leadership, using creativity as a way to build empathy and inspire others.
My goal is to share dance as a tool for growth, emotion, and opportunity, helping others see art as a language that unites us and opens doors to new possibilities.

Soy Arianna “Valentina” Velasquez, bailarina y embajadora cultural de Lima, Perú.
La danza ha sido parte esencial de mi vida desde los seis años; ha formado mi carácter y mi forma de ver el mundo. A través de ella, he aprendido disciplina, resiliencia, paciencia y la capacidad de expresar emociones sin palabras.
Con el tiempo, descubrí que el movimiento puede ser mucho más que una presentación: puede ser una forma de contar historias, sanar y conectar con los demás. Mis experiencias en programas de intercambio internacional y proyectos comunitarios me enseñaron a unir arte y liderazgo, utilizando la creatividad como medio para generar empatía e inspirar a otros.
Mi objetivo es compartir la danza como una herramienta de crecimiento, emoción y oportunidad, ayudando a que más personas la vean como un lenguaje que nos une y nos abre puertas hacia nuevas posibilidades.
ARIANNA VALENTINA, a 5th year high school student at Los Olivos College, carried out a social work project benefiting the state school IE N°8181 HEROES DEL ALTO CENEPA, by providing a free folk dance workshop at this educational center, inspiring all students and the community in general to foster a high sense of commitment and motivation to practice the common good, which strengthens the personal and professional profile of each student, developing socio-emotional skills such as proactivity, empathy and a vocation for service, putting into practice the knowledge and values acquired in our institution L.O.C
Arianna Valentina, an outstanding student, represented Peru with honors at the «Santangelo Romano» International Folk Dance Festival in Italy. 🎉🎉 This talented young woman, a member of the «Peruanísimos Arte y Cultura» group, is the result of the academic and values-based education she received at her educational institution. Public recognition of her participation and achievements inspires other students to pursue and value their own passions and talents.
